We tighten up the UV-C emission so more of the energy actually hits your material and less of it just turns into wasted heat. By getting the ballast and the lamp to play nice together, we can pull less power from the wall without losing any of that deep-curing power you need.
Heat, Glass, and Headaches
You can’t just use any old glass here. We use high-purity fused quartz because it handles the heat and pressure without breaking a sweat. More importantly, it stops “solarization”—that annoying thing where the glass gets cloudy over time and starts blocking your UV light. But here is the thing: high-intensity lamps gethot. If you’re squeezing these into a tight conveyor housing, don’t skimp on the cooling fans. If the air isn’t moving, your lamps will burn out way too fast, and you might even end up warping your printing plates. It’s a mess you just don’t want to deal with.
Getting it Up and Running
We designed these to be simple drop-in replacements for those old, power-hungry systems. We stripped out all the unnecessary bells and whistles and just focused on making them stable. These lamps are built to take a beating in a loud, messy shop environment while keeping the output steady from one end of the tube to the other. Plus, we use standard connectors.
